CADD Designer/Technician

- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design software.
- Develop details for simple to potentially complex concrete and steel bridges which may include prestressed concrete, cast-in-place concrete, steel plate girder, and box culverts. Typical projects will be for highway and railway projects.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently with direction from supervisor and engineers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, Micro Station, etc)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
