About The Role
The Mortgage Loan Post Closer boards loan on to Xperience, prepares and delivers closed loan files and related documentation to investor, and reconciles the purchase of the loan.
This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division in Coeur d'Alene, entry rate for this position is $19.12 + / per hour (calculated for Coeur d'Alene, ). to learn more about our bank divisions.
All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.
DescriptionBoards loan on to Xperience timely after loan funding.
- Creates client record if needed.
- Books funding GL entries on system.
- Performs quality review after boarding to ensure accuracy.
- Activates MI certificates.
- Ensures MERS MIN is registered.
Prepares and delivers closed loan files and related documentation to investor.
- Logs FHA appraisals.
- Insures/guarantees loans (FHA/VA/USDA).
- Ships file to investor and confirms receipt.
Keeps track of files status with investor.
- Addresses loan files that have been suspended by the investor and works to clear suspended loans in a timely manner.
Receives wire and purchase advice and reconciles purchase advice.
- Posts payoff GL entries on system.
- Ensures MERS MIN is transferred at loan purchase.
- Sends out notice of transfer to insurance company.
- Sends out notices of transfer to borrower(s).
Receives and forwards final documents.
- Verifies the vesting on the Final Title matches the Recorded Security Instrument.
Education:
- Required:
High School Diploma / GED
Experience:
- Required:
1 year general clerical or banking experience. - Required:
1 year beginner computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn additional applications. - Preferred: 1 year mortgage fulfillment or post closing experience.
- Preferred:
Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, construction and conventional procedures. - Preferred:
Beginner experience with loan platform software such as Encompass. - Preferred:
Beginner experience with core banking systems including GLs and reconciliation tracking.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task and handle complex tasks efficiently. Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Employee must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
- Employee must be capable of interacting calmly and professionally with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC. Must complete assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
Travel:
- Occasional travel required: less than 10 days per year by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation; able to lodge in public facilities.

Indoors, climate-controlled shared work area. - Noise level: moderate noise within reasonable limits.
- Lifting: exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally.

- Close visual acuity to work with computer and read documents.

All required physical activities are infrequent – rare, except for daily finger tasks such as typing.
