Mountain West Bank is seeking a full-time Wire Specialist for our Coeur d'Alene location. This position will refer to the Operations Department for all applications of the position.

Under general supervision, applicant will perform a wide variety of operational functions in support of the bank’s offices and departments. Services customers, branches and departments through fact finding and problem resolution.

This is a full-time, hourly position. Candidates must be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00pm for a total of 40 hours a week. Rate of pay depends on experience.

• Respond to all customer service questions, inquiries, problems, etc. in a helpful, professional, and courteous manner.
• Exercise judgement and discretion in performance of all duties, referring more complex problems and situations to immediate supervisor.
• Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• May perform any or all of the following duties:
  • Process Domestic and Foreign Incoming/Outgoing Wires.
  • Performs Wire Verification, performs call-backs verifying the Wire Int ructions with the customer.
  • Corresponds with "Corpay" regarding accepting wires and answering compliance questions that arise.
  • Processes Foreign Checks.
  • Verify Account Agreements.
  • Daily reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
  • Assists with Operational functions within the department in addition to assisting Branches as needed.
• Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in banking
• A good understanding or banking products and services
• Previous office experience and prior use of basic office equipment.
