You will work closely with our specialized and fellowship‑trained surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers in a clinic setting, including orthopedic urgent care, physical therapy, and durable medical equipment (DME) departments.

Job Description (PTA)Assist physical therapists in evaluating, developing, and administering detailed treatment programs in accordance with established pre‑ and post‑op protocols.
Implement exercises, stretching, equipment use, and hands‑on therapy under the direction of a licensed physical therapist to manage pain, increase mobility, and prevent further injury.
Educate patients and family members on exercises, recovery, and injury prevention techniques as instructed by the supervising PT.
Document patient progress, report observations, and communicate any changes in patient status to the supervising PT.
Assist in developing individualized treatment plans and outlining goals as directed by the PT.
Maintain compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
Attend required team meetings and participate in clinic program planning and policy discussions as appropriate.
Provide guidance and supervision to therapy aides as directed by the PT.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Must have a current and unrestricted license to practice as a PTA in Idaho.
Current CPR certification.
Positive and effective interpersonal skills with patients, families, volunteers, and clinic staff.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills and ability to use an EMR system.
Ability to follow PT protocols and adapt exercises safely for patients.
