Toolmaker – Aluminum Permanent Mold Casting

We're hiring an experienced Toolmaker to build, maintain, and repair molds, tools, and dies for a well-established manufacturing team.

• Proficiency in machining operations, including milling, drilling, grinding, and lathing
• Skilled in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs
• Ability to maintain, repair, and modify molds, tools, and dies to meet production needs
• Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Experience using CNC and manual machine tools
• GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) experience
• Trade school certification, apprenticeship completion, or relevant work experience in toolmaking or machining

• Solid Cam, Solid
  
  WorksCAM, or Solid Works experience
• Background in aluminum permanent mold casting or the metalworking industry

As a Toolmaker, you'll manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair molds, tools, and dies. You'll review blueprints, set up and operate machinery, perform quality checks, and collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to make sure tooling meets specifications and production deadlines.

Someone with strong problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
