- Create a welcome environment for customers.
- Prepare, sell, and serve alcoholic beverages, food, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Clean, maintain, and stock the side station, and restaurant floor.
- Work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks at one time while providing excellent guest service.
- Greet customers in a welcoming manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and theater patrons
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
- Stock and replenish shelves, counters or table with merchandise.
- Answer customer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise.
- Total price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
- Accept payment and make change. Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.
- Remove and record amount of cash in register at end of shift.
- Calculate sales discount to determine price.
- Keep the showroom clean and orderly.
- Watch for safety or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and report to management.
- Check the identification and verify the legal age for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Prepare, pour, and deliver alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Understand and comply with state liquor laws and Cinema West policies with regard to alcohol service.
- Notify management of impaired customers, and do not serve them alcoholic beverages.
- Other duties as assigned.
Available to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Requires regular and consistent attendance.
- Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities.
- Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and to be able to move quickly.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Accurate cash handling and math skills.
- Mus complete a Safe Beverage Service and Food Handlers training program and meet the age requirement for alcohol service.
- Bartender experience preferred.
- Mus be at least 21 years of age.
This job operates in a movie theater and restaurant environment, sometimes with limited lighting, with guests coming and going. The pace can be fast, but must always be welcoming.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting all day. Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull at least 50 pounds.
RequiredEducation and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D., or currently enrolled. Previous retail, restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
