Rigging Lead About Us

Hagadone Marine Group is a premier marine dealership specializing in boat sales, service, and storage. We pride ourselves on delivering top-tier customer service and expert technical support to boaters throughout the region. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Rigging Lead to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Rigging Lead oversees and executes all rigging operations related to new and used boat sales. This role is responsible for ensuring warranty processes are completed accurately and efficiently, while leading and coordinating the Rigging Technicians to maintain high-quality workmanship and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate workflow within the Rigging Department, including assigning jobs and tracking progress.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor Rigging Technicians in daily operations and best practices.
  • Maintain departmental productivity at both individual and team levels in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure all warranty policies and procedures are followed so claims are completed accurately and on time. Ensure all warranty items are addressed in a prompt manner.
  • Perform used boat inspections and prepare repair estimates for identified issues.
  • Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic diagnostics are completed correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a marine technician (certifications preferred but not required).
  • Working knowledge of outboard and inboard engines, including Mercury, Volvo Penta, and Mer Cruiser.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Boat operation experience is a plus.
