Traveling Underground Utility Equipment Operator; CDL A)

Key Line Construction, LLC is hiring experienced Traveling Underground Utility Equipment Operators to join our Major Projects and Idaho Division
. We perform utility construction throughout the Pacific Northwest and Western U.S., with opportunities to work on telecom and underground utility projects.

Travel is required. We always try to keep our crews working close to home when possible, but candidates must be willing to travel wherever the work takes us.

• Safely operate heavy equipment including cable plows, backhoes, mini excavators, skid steers, rock saws, and other underground utility equipment.
• Dig trenches, backfill, compact, and finish to grade.
• Read plans, perform layout, and check grades.
• Haul equipment and materials using a Class A CDL.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Follow all company, DOT, and jobsite safety requirements.

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Experience operating underground utility construction equipment.
• Experience with plan layout and grade checking.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel and perform all aspects of underground utility construction.

• Competitive union wages: $25.00–$55.00 per hour
