Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest is seeking volunteer adult mentors to join our community‑based mentoring program in North Idaho. Mentors (aka ‘Bigs’) are paired with local youth (age 6‑16). Each ‘Match’ spends time together 2‑3 times per month for 2‑3 hours per session. Bigs and Littles choose activities they both enjoy, such as walks, games, crafts, and meals.
Each Match is unique and tailored to fit the needs of both parties. Each Match receives training and ongoing support from dedicated Match support specialists.
- Complete a self‑paced training and a virtual training with our team related to child safety and building healthy relationships (2‑3 hours).
- Complete an interview that helps us understand more about you so we can make a great Match (1 hour).
- Get matched with a Little and start spending quality time together!
