Shipping Coordinator

The Shipping Coordinator I is responsible for executing established shipping procedures with a primary focus on freight coordination. This role performs routine shipping functions while working closely with the Shipping and Sales teams under the direction of the Shipping Manager.

• Shipment Scheduling and Completion
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments by arranging transportation with freight carriersin accordance with customer guidelines and packing lists.
• Schedule LTL and FTL shipments through customer portals as required.
• Utilize software, such as UPS, Fed Ex, etc., to process parcel shipments.
• Collaborate with team members to organize daily shipping activities and ensure all shipments are completed by scheduledship-date.
• Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Data Entry and Documentation
• Create, process and maintain shipping documentation and packing lists using SAP.
• Accurately enter and verify data related to work orders and finished goods.

• Education and Certifications
• High School diploma or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience.
• Technical Requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred or willing and able to become certified.
• Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Schedule Requirements
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk,bendand stoop.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forkliftsin accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
