The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This hands‑on role performs shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and order fulfillment activities while serving as a resource for warehouse team members. The Warehouse Lead assists with workflow coordination, training, and problem‑solving to help achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

What you need:

  • Ability to safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
  • Ability to verify materials against bills of material, pick lists, work orders, and shipping documentation.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement.
  • Ability to safely use overhead cranes, lift-assist devices, and other material handling equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using power hand tools.
  • Ability to prioritize work and support daily workflow activities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to train and assist team members with warehouse processes and safety procedures.
  • Ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues.
  • Proficiency with SAP or other warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment through 5S and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain all vendor platforms (E.I, Avetta and ISN).

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience required.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with ERP or similar inventory management systems preferred.
  • Previous experience providing training, guidance, or support to team members preferred.
  • Experience working with inventory transactions, shipping documentation, and material handling processes preferred.
