Senior Officer - Engineering

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

• Evaluation and Validation :
  Develop Good maintenance practices and Focus improvements & Kaizens for operation Maintenance solutions. Validation of all Projects implementation & Process improvements assigned from management.

• Solution Development :
  Lead the team for operating machine without any major issues and make sure the machine availability and Support on ensure plant wastage due to equipment breakdowns are to the minimum as per targets.

• Set and monitor the performance of the plant equipments against standards and targets in areas such as equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF etc.
• Set and monitor performance of Utility operations, Maintenance for Plant equipments.
• Responsible for Legal & Statutory of equipments related to Pressure vessel testing, Lifting tools, Boiler license, Pollution documents etc.
• Responsible for closure of Safety requirements of the unit and ensure to get timely certification of unit from certification agencies.
• Drive and monitor utility consumption of the factory and to find opportunities to improve the same and to drive capex related to it
• Ensures the Uptime of the entire plant Equipments inclusive of Utilities, Production unit, Packaging, Facility etc.
• Ensure the facility maintenance of the factory as per Standards.
• Need to Maintain the RCA and tracker sheet of CAPA for closure of all breakdowns in the plant.
• Need to Ensure Preventive Maintenance of All Equipments in the plant is executed as per Criticality of machines and ensure its effectiveness through SAP and PM pillar of TPM.
• Execution of All Capex/Projects allocated, Meet the cashflow targets as per the budget allocated
• Do analysis on Energy drive projects/Kaizens for improvement. Identify the gaps and develop culture on Sustainability.
• Meet all Safety, food safety requirements while executing Maintenance, Projects
• Develop skill matrix & training calendar ensuring training of Engineering team of technicians.
• Maintain Spares of Plant overall with ROL and ROQ
• Develop SOPs, WI and Ensure documentation of all Maintenance and project documents.
• Drive Changeover reduction and automation projects
• Do analysis on High consumption of Spares and work on continuous improvement to reduce the spares cost
• Develop local vendors for Imported spares, indigenization of spares.
• Drive cost saving projects.
• Maintain the budget allocated.
• Coordinate for all Audits from Safety, Food safety, TPM, ISO, Legal audits etc.
• Maintain MIS for the Energy, Water consumption, trends and its analysis.
• Prepare Weekly, Monthly presentations on the plant Engineering performance.
• Support on Engineering stores activities & Project coordinator from Engineering

• Foster Innovation in process optimization by effective Operation & Maintenance
• Ethical Considerations :
  Stay updated on advanced technologies on industries surrounding for process improvement in operation & maintenance. Foster a culture of good maintenance practice within the organization.
