Regional Supply Chain Associate Director

Plant Supply Chain Manager mission is to organize the flow of material and information of the plant in a manner that optimizes the factory efficiency & effectiveness in terms of customer service / stock level / site productivity (warehouse directly and production part indirectly) / logistics costs.

• Provide leadership at plant level on supply chain topics (customer service, demand management, warehousing, stock level, productivity and costs)
• Mentoring and coaching team members (planning, warehouse, SAP as required)
• Employees have authority to stop machines in case of immediate risk and emergency situations.
• Contribute and drive the flawless implementation of the site Supply Chain related action plans while constantly reviewing SC overall performance which implies continuously improving and/or re-engineering material and information flows & work processes.
• Ensure high level smooth collaboration with all SC stakeholders (purchasing, production, finance, HR, suppliers and clients)
• Contributes to Asia Supply Chain & Purchasing activities and performs various reporting timely
• Obtain logistics information of purchased goods.

As a manager, he /she ensures that his/her team is informed and trained about Quality, Safety and Environment requirements and respects the related rules. He/She is accountable for the IMS process management within his perimeter of responsibility.

Within his/her scope of responsibility, he/she respects the standards and rules in terms of Quality, Safety and Environment contributing to the IMS process management and improvement.

Fill in with back-up position titles only. Back-up should be indicated for positions in charge of customer orders treatment, supplier on-time delivery, quality, production capacity, shared loading (multi-part station), lead time, inventory level, preventive maintenance, and calibration are the ones to be provided with a back-up.

• Logistics Supplier Non Conformity Report (SNCR)
• SAP structural utilization improvement (Customer Demand, Supply and production planning in SAP (MRP), WMS)

• Educational background: BS or MSc in Supply Chain Management
• Experience:
  
  > 10 years of relevant experience acquired in manufacturing sectors renowned for Supply Chain Excellence as Planning leader AND warehouse leader.
• Experience in building integrated Supply Chain organization
• Bi-cultural profile / overseas experience / foreign company experience a major plus
• Strong leadership skills are required
• Ability to build a performing SC team organization : structure, roles & responsibilities, processes, procedures and work instruction
• Robust team management experience.
• Good safety awareness
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with different stakeholders (external and internal). Act as a facilitator.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking) and Japanese.
• Relevant experience successfully supervising major SAP projects (MRP, production planning…) related to supply chain activities is a plus.
• Skills in SAP (at least one of following modules MM,PP,SD,WM) are a plus
