Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, or "CRMC", is a 25-bed, non-profit, critical access hospital serving Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma since 1949. As a rural hospital, CRMC is surprising because of its large size and wide variety of services. The Clinical Practice Nurse Lead oversees the clinic operations in the assigned clinic by assuring appropriate nursing staffing and assignments, front line physician and patient relations, appropriate supply and inventory, completion of required trainings and other duties required for exceptional clinic patient care. S/he oversees all patient workflow from front end to back-end office.

Job Duties
  • Assist Clinic manager with the daily administration of all associates’ activities of assigned clinic.
  • Supervise clinical staff including RN’s, LPN’s, C.N.A’s and Patient Registration Clerk.
  • Appropriately schedule all staff for all clinic operations.
  • Assure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct patient intake to help physicians develop treatment plans and strategies by obtaining Vital signs, information about current symptoms, medical histories and medication to provide physicians with complete understanding of current medical needs.
  • Support clinic providers by setting up equipment or instruments for exams and procedures.
  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering medication, treatments or injections.
  • Maintain and clean exam rooms between patients.
  • Liaise between physicians and patients by fielding patient questions, relaying test results, scheduling follow-up appointments, coordinating prescription orders and refills and other assistance that may be requested by patient or physician.
  • Gather KPI data and process improvement for metrics reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information according to HIPAA and company policy.
Job Requirements
  • Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills in teaming with patients, medical staff and the public.
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask.
  • Professional appearance and ease in developing rapport with others.
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask.
  • Computer skills including MSOffice, Outlook, Meditech, preferred.
Education And Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, required.
  • BLS certification, required.
  • Basic understanding of federal and state regulations applicable to occupational and environmental health and safety, required.
  • 3+ years of clinic management (preferred).
