Jr. Financial Analyst (Contract)
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Jr. Financial Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the potential to extend an additional 6 months.
đź“Ť Location: Cohoes, NY
🚫 Relocation not available – local candidates only
đź’° Pay Rate: $21.63/hr
What you’ll do:
- Review and approve client requests to ensure proper authorization and policy compliance
- Perform quality reviews of completed work to ensure accuracy and data integrity
- Work across multiple systems and platforms to process and validate financial information
- Partner with internal teams to resolve ongoing issues and respond to policy-related questions
- Apply sound business judgment to identify and escalate unusual or suspicious activity
- Support special projects and ad hoc business initiatives
- Adhere to all quality, compliance, client service, and information security standards
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel proficiency preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated team player who can collaborate across all levels of the organization
