Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform underground and overhead fiber optic cable laying activities.
Carry out fiber splicing, jointing, and termination works.
Install and maintain OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) networks.
Conduct cable testing using OTDR and power meter tools.
Identify and rectify fiber cuts and network faults.
Handle route survey and cable path inspection activities.
Coordinate with field engineers and network teams for smooth project execution.
Ensure proper documentation of cable routes and splicing details.
Follow safety procedures during field operations and maintenance work.
Attend emergency breakdowns and restoration activities.

Requirements

Required Skills

Knowledge of fiber optic cable laying and splicing.
Basic understanding of networking and ISP infrastructure.
Ability to use OTDR, fusion splicer, and testing equipment.
Troubleshooting and fault identification skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to travel and work in field operations.
