Instructional Coach - Math (Teacher

Colchester Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Mathematics Instructional Coach Teacher to support high-quality literacy instruction and student achievement across all content areas. The successful candidate will partner with other teachers through coaching cycles, co-planning, modeling research-based instructional practices, facilitating professional learning, and using student data to strengthen teaching and learning.

The Mathematics Instructional Coach Teacher will work across all disciplines to support mathematics and critical thinking skills while helping educators integrate effective math practices into content-area instruction. The coach will support curriculum development/review through collaboration with teachers, PLCs, and curriculum committees to ensure alignment of instructional practices, resources, and assessments with district curricula and learning goals. In addition, the coach will provide direct mathematics instruction and intervention services to students.

Qualifications

• Connecticut certification as an Elementary Teacher, PK–6 (305)
• Demonstrated exemplary teaching experience
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and instructional coaching skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based mathematics instruction, assessment, and intervention practices
