This is a full-time, on-site Sales Professional role based at Toyota of Colchester in Colchester, CT. The Sales Professional will greet customers, listen to their needs, and guide them through vehicle selection, test drives, and product demonstrations. Daily responsibilities include explaining vehicle features and benefits, preparing price quotes, and presenting financing and lease options in coordination with the finance team. The role involves following up with leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, and supporting customers before and after the sale to ensure a positive experience.

The Sales Professional will also stay current on Toyota product knowledge, promotions, and inventory to provide informed recommendations.

• Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Sales, negotiation, and closing skills, preferably in automotive or retail environments.
• Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication and professional email and phone etiquette.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort using CRM tools and dealership software.
• Ability to learn and explain technical product details, features, and warranties in an accessible way.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous automotive sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
