Waking Night Residential Support Worker

EXCITING CARE OPPORTUNITY – PERMANENT WAKING NIGHT ROLE!

SV Care is recruiting a Permanent Waking Night Residential Support Worker for our Ofsted-registered children’s residential provision within Colchester
. This is a chance to help shape a service in a newly renovated, spacious modern property finished to the highest standard.

• Supporting young people to engage in education
• Ensuring young people’s health needs are met
• Providing advice, support, and guidance
• Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention
• Administering and recording medication
• Maintaining daily records and administrative work
• Contributing to the care planning process
• Liaising with external stakeholders and our own multi-disciplinary team
• Attending mandatory training
• Engaging in team meetings
• Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking, etc.)

• 10‑hour waking night shifts
• Night shift

• Residential Childcare: 1 year (required)

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (preferred)
