You enjoy supporting children and bringing energy, patience, and a positive approach to each session. You want a role where you can make a difference before and after the school day. We're looking for someone like you to join our wraparound team in a local primary school.

• Welcome children into a safe and friendly environment
• Lead simple activities that keep children active and engaged
• Support healthy routines such as snacks, play, and calm‑down time
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and school staff
• Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold high standards of care
• Work closely with the setting lead to keep each session running smoothly

• Confidence working with children aged 4 to 11
• Clear communication and a supportive attitude
• Ability to stay calm and organised during busy periods
• A team mindset and willingness to help where needed
• Experience in childcare or education is helpful but not essential
• Understanding of Ofsted requirements is a bonus

Part time, Monday to Friday
Morning and/or afternoon shifts available 7:30 - 8:35 and 15:00 to 18:00
Term‑time with optional holiday work
Based in one of our Essex primary school settings:
Chelmsford, Colchester or Braintree.

  Short telephone call
• Stage 2:
  Practical face‑to‑face interview at the desired setting
• The successful candidate receives a phone offer followed by written confirmation.

Pay scale is £10.00 - £13.00 per hour.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
