The George Hotel is located on Colchester High Street in Essex, has 49 heritage rooms and suites, alongside 44 contemporary rooms in St Nicholas. From our vibrant bar and restaurant to our recently opened Sip in Secret bar, no two days are the same, providing plenty of variety and opportunities to grow as a Commis Chef.

• Prepare fresh ingredients to the high standards set by our Head Chef.
• Maintain excellent hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
• Support the day‑to‑day running of a busy, well‑organised kitchen.
• Learn to run and support different sections across the kitchen as you grow in the role.
