Are you a skilled technician with a passion for agricultural machinery? We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join a well-established team at my clients branch in Essex. Role

Purpose:

Reporting to the Agricultural Service Manager, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a range of agricultural and horticultural machinery, ensuring equipment sold by the company continues to operate at its best.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair faults using the latest software tools.
Carry out repairs on a variety of equipment.
Maintain and service agricultural and horticultural machinery for customers.
Lift and handle heavy machinery safely, using appropriate tools where needed.
Liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
Work independently using your initiative and as part of a team.
Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
Provide excellent customer service in this customer-facing role.

Essential

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in the agricultural or horticultural machinery sector is highly advantageous.
Proficient in modern agricultural machinery, GPS systems, precision farming, and telematics.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to show initiative.
Full, clean driver’s license.
Physically fit and able to maintain a good level of general health.
Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.

Additional Information:

Location:

Colchester, Essex

Hours:

39 hrs per week - Overtime paid at time and a half.

Contract:

Permanent, full-time, hourly paid (£Competitive, depending on experience). Includes company van and mobile phone.
