Electrical Catering Engineer

Based in Essex – with travel across London and surrounding Essex areas

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical Catering Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance and repair of commercial catering equipment across a range of customer sites including restaurants, schools, care homes, pubs and commercial kitchens.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys varied work, problem‑solving on‑site, and delivering a high standard of customer service.

• Service, fault‑find, repair and maintain commercial catering equipment
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
• Diagnose electrical faults accurately and efficiently
• Install new catering equipment where required
• Complete job reports and paperwork accurately (digital or written)
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical and safety regulations
• Maintain a professional and customer‑focused approach on‑site
• Manage van stock and tools responsibly
• Proven experience as an Electrical Catering Engineer
• Electrical qualifications relevant to commercial catering equipment
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication skills and professional manner
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
