Electrical Supervisor

We are representing a well‑established, fast‑growing groundworks specialist that has carved out a powerhouse reputation within the Power and Civils sectors. Due to a strong pipeline of 11kV infrastructure projects, they are looking for a hands‑on leader to bridge the gap between technical jointing and site supervision.

This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys the variety of UK‑wide project delivery and wants to be a key player in a company that is scaling rapidly.

• Supervision:
  Leading onsite teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Technical:
  Carrying out LV and HV cable jointing (specifically 11kV projects).
• Travel:
  While based in Colchester, the nature of the contracts may mean occasional overnight stays.
• Hours:
  
  07:30 - 17:30 (47.5‑hour working week).

• Qualifications:
  
  Fully Qualified Electrician.
• Safety Leadership:
  Must hold a valid SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Technical Expertise:
  Proven experience in LV & HV jointing, with specific expertise in 11kV projects.
• Adaptability: A flexible approach to travel and working away from home when required.
• Communication:
  Ability to liaise between the client, the civils team, and the head office in Colchester.

• Base Salary: £55,000 per annum.
• Vehicle:
  Company Van + Fuel Card.
• Holiday: 29 days (including Bank Holidays).
