Yard Operative FLT

Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join their busy team.

This is a physically demanding, hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

• Loading and unloading lorries using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately.
• Assisting customers with collections and providing a professional service.
• Organising and maintaining stock within the yard.
• Manual handling and handballing of heavy materials.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Supporting the wider team with general yard duties as required.

• Holds a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Has previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment.
• Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out heavy manual work.
• Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Can work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Has good communication and customer service skills.
• Is reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
