Industrial Door Engineer - £35,000 + Overtime + Company Van

Location: Colchester (Applicants must live within 30 minutes of our depot)

Salary: £35,000 per year + Overtime Opportunities

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to join our friendly, family‑run business. We have built our reputation on quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and strong relationships with our clients. In fact, we haven t needed to advertise for work in over four years, with the majority of our business coming from repeat customers and word‑of‑mouth recommendations.

You ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a wide range of industrial door systems. You ll work independently and as part of our experienced team, delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service. As this is a reactive industry, flexibility is essential. The role includes participation in an on‑call rota covering evenings and weekends, with overtime available.

• Proven experience installing, servicing, repairing and fault‑finding on industrial doors.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• IPAF and/or PASMA certification (both are preferred).
• Honest, reliable and hardworking.
• Flexible approach to working hours and emergency call‑outs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Own transport initially.
