* Key responsibilities:
** You’ll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.
You will have demonstrable experience in completing inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, being competent undertaking repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3-phase electrical switch gear.
This also includes:
* Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment
* Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions
* Assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation and automation teams
* Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues
* React to technical issues to maintain water supply
** What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?
*** Level 3 electrical qualifications AND ideally completed a full electrical apprenticeship
* Strong health & safety focus
* Industrial/Commercial electrical experience
* Ability to work standby-by and overtime as necessary
As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.
