Millbrook Building & Remodeling, Inc. is a General Contractor and Construction Management Company in
Chittenden County. We do renovations, new builds, and additions for both Commercial and Residential projects. Our company has been in business over 43 years and we have a large portfolio of successful projects.
Responsibilities of an office support person will include but is not limited to:
• Front Desk Operations:
Reception - Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and directing callsappropriately.
• Mail:
Opening, dating and scanning
• Scheduling and Coordination:
Managing calendars (Bids, site visits, appointments and meetings)
• Correspondence:
Preparing emails, and other documents, including composing, editing, and proofreading.
• Data Entry:
Inputting and managing data in various software programs.
• Filing and Record Keeping:
Organizing and maintaining both physical and digital files.
• Bookkeeping/Accounting:
Assisting with data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general journal entries, job costing, Certified Payroll, EOY documents and other financial tasks, as needed.
• Problem-Solving:
Addressing minor issues that arise and escalating complex problems to appropriate staff.
• Project Support:
Assisting with various projects, providing support to team members

Ability to manage tasks, schedules, and information efficiently.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Office Software:
Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Adobe PDF, Google, Drop Box and other relevant software.

Accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
• Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Adaptability:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.

Experience:
• Administrative Experience working Construction Office or Trade School: 3 years (Required)
• Accounting or Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
Competitive Wages based on experience and qualifications ($36,000 - $64,000 per year)
Fulltime In House:
Monday – Friday 7:30-4:00pm (This is not a remote position)
