Willow Brook Primary School is located in Colchester, Essex and is part of the TKAT Multi‑Academy Trust.

Volunteer Governor position on the Local Governing Body.

• Represent the Academy’s local community and stakeholders, ensuring policies and practice meet community needs.
• Ensure the Academy’s long‑term vision reflects community needs beyond current post‑holders and aligns with TKAT’s vision and values.
• Support Directors of Education to improve Academy outcomes.
• Support the Headteacher to ensure staffing is efficient and effective.
• Attend approximately six governing body meetings per year, some of which may be virtual; occasional short pay‑committee meetings may also occur.

Professional experience in any sector with a passion for education. Commitment to the welfare and achievement of children, willingness to commit time, and ability to think strategically, challenge, and support.

• Access to Trust resources and materials to support governance.
