Position: 94A Land Combat Electronic Missile System Repairer

Land Combat Electronic Missile System Repairer

Highly-mobile missile launchers give the Army National Guard a powerful edge on the battlefield. As the Land Combat Electronic Missile System Repairer, you are responsible for testing and repairing missile electronic assemblies, tracking systems, and related components.

Responsibilities
  • Determine shortcomings and malfunctions in electronic, electrical, mechanical, and circuit elements.
  • Repair unserviceable optical and infrared components.
  • Inspect, test, and adjust components to specific tolerances.
  • Perform quality control measures.
  • Test instruments and navigational controls, read technical diagrams and manuals, and replace equipment parts.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair unserviceable units across TOW, DRAGON, and Bradley Fighting Vehicle systems.
  • As experience increases, supervise and train other soldiers, provide technical assistance, install equipment modifications, and conduct quality control.
Skills You’ll Gain

Requirements
  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
  • Minimum of junior in high school or higher, or a high school diploma or GED.
