Our client is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Wire & Cable Product Manager (Wire & Cable).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate new product development projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Develop and execute product strategies to drive growth in transit, industrial, and military market segments.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and assess existing product performance.
  • Create and maintain product literature, technical documentation, and marketing materials.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to develop new cable compounds and innovative product solutions.
  • Coordinate product testing, certifications, and compliance approvals with external agencies.
  • Design and maintain product drawings using CAD or Solid Works.
  • Develop product costing models, pricing strategies, and price sheets.
  • Prepare engineered quotations and provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
  • Specify, source, and qualify raw materials required for new product development.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product launches.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and regulatory changes to support business growth.
Required Qualifications Must-Have Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant product management experience.
  • Experience in the Wire & Cable Manufacturing industry is required.
  • Proven product management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD and/or Solid Works.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and make sound business decisions.
  • Experience with product costing, pricing, and quotation development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience serving transit, industrial, military, aerospace, defense, or related markets.
  • Knowledge of wire and cable industry standards, testing requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing technical products throughout the full product lifecycle.
