We’re seeking a strategic, analytical, and collaborative Pricing Manager to build and lead our pricing function from Vermont. This role will play a critical part in shaping VIP’s growth strategy by driving pricing excellence across products, services, and contracts.
Position OverviewThe Pricing Manager will own VIP’s pricing strategy, governance, and execution. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Product, and Leadership to develop competitive, profitable pricing models that support both new business and existing customers.
This role blends strategy with hands‑on execution — ideal for someone who enjoys building frameworks while also rolling up their sleeves to support deal pricing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain VIP’s pricing strategy aligned with business objectives, market positioning, and margin targets
- Establish pricing frameworks, policies, and approval workflows
- Define pricing architecture across products, services, and contract types
- Lead annual pricing reviews and market repositioning efforts
- Partner with Sales to structure competitive, profitable proposals and contracts
- Provide pricing guidance on complex deals, RFPs, and renewals
- Build standardized pricing tools, templates, and calculators
- Support negotiations by delivering data‑backed recommendations
- Conduct margin analysis, scenario modeling, and deal profitability assessments
- Monitor competitive pricing and market trends
- Analyze customer segmentation and willingness-to-pay
- Track pricing performance KPIs and recommend improvements
- Work closely with Finance on revenue forecasting and margin planning
- Partner with Product and Operations to align pricing with cost structures and value propositions
- Work closely with Revenue Operations to ensure integration of pricing into Hub Spot CRM
- Present pricing insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Improve pricing discipline and consistency across the organization
- Document best practices and train stakeholders on pricing processes
- Help evolve VIP’s commercial maturity through scalable pricing operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, strategy, or commercial operations
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience supporting B2B sales organizations and deal pricing
- Advanced Excel skills; comfort working with financial and CRM systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in technology, data, or services businesses
- Familiarity with SaaS or recurring‑revenue pricing models
- Experience with RFP pricing and contract structures
- MBA or advanced degree

Compensation: $100,000-$115,000/year
Compensation is based on a variety of factors including skills, experience and industry background. The range listed here represents our best faith estimate for the role.
