The State of Vermont Military Department is seeking to fill the position of GIS Professional (GIS Program Manager).
The GIS Program Manager is responsible for the management, development, maintenance, and strategic oversight of the Geographic Information System (GIS) and associated web applications supporting the Vermont Military Department. This position provides GIS services and technical support across all divisions of the Vermont Military Department. This position oversees GIS operations supporting two primary program areas:
Environmental and Real Property. GIS data including SDSFIE structured databases, analysis, and applications developed under this program are critical to informed decision-making, facilities management, environmental stewardship, and operational planning.
