Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality industrial components and systems for a variety of sectors. They are seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team.

Your day-to-day as a Sheet Metal Fabricator:

• Read and interpret CAD drawings and manufacturing instructions for custom ductwork assemblies
• Measure, mark, cut, and shape sheet metal using shop tools and equipment
• Prepare and clean metal components by deburring, grinding, and sanding edges
• Assemble sheet metal segments and damper components using hand tools and fixtures
• Perform basic tack-welding to secure sub-assemblies for further processing
• Conduct self-inspections using measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy

Your skills and experience:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 inch
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment
• Willingness to learn and operate a forklift after training
• Basic understanding of welding processes and eagerness to develop further skills
• Adaptability to work in various areas and handle shifting priorities
