Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality industrial piping and ventilation solutions for a variety of facilities. They are seeking a Industrial Blaster Prep Technician to join their team.

Your day-to-day as a Industrial Blaster Prep Technician:

• Operate industrial power washers to clean large pipes and ductwork prior to blasting
• Set up and safely operate sandblasting equipment to prepare metal surfaces for coating
• Inspect surfaces to ensure a uniform, clean finish before moving to the next production stage
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure optimal operation
• Safely handle and position heavy materials using appropriate equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to strict safety protocols

Your skills and experience:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment
• Commitment to quality and adherence to safety standards
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/32″
• Willingness to operate a forklift after training
• Basic understanding of welding with an eagerness to expand skills
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in other areas as needed
