Department Focus

Job Description and Duties Follows HTI’s Quality principles:- Understand customers’ business objectives as well as their technical requirements.
- Agree what can be delivered in what timeframe and develop a plan on how delivery can be met.
- Work co-operatively with all departments and suppliers to exceed customer expectations.
- Make the right people, with the correct level of authority, skills and experience, available for the project.
- Identify and manage risks jointly.
- Always execute a quality plan.
- Ensure sufficient staff training and help to manage the impact of change.
- High School education (2-year technical degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of manual machining, quality control inspection, or equivalent measurement experience.
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications.
- Expected travel is 5-15% yearly.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented, organized and highly motivated.
- Enhancement to qualifications would include - ASNT/SNT-TC-1A Level II Certification and experience in nondestructive examination (NDE) methods, i.e. (MT) Magnetic Particle Inspection, (PT) Liquid Penetrant Inspection and (VT) Visual Testing.
- Enhancement to qualifications would include - understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results, and follow-up.
- Enhancement to qualifications would include – an understanding of a quality systems and their development, documentation, and implementation to domestic or international standards and their requirements.
- Enhancement to qualifications would include – an understanding of welding per ASME Section IX.
1st Shift: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4pm, Fri 7:30am-1:30pm (four 8.5 hour days, one 6 hour day)
2nd Shift: Mon-Thurs 3:00pm-1:30am (four 10 hour days)
$24 - $30 an hour
