Set Up and Service Technician

Champlain Valley Equipment is an agricultural and light duty construction equipment business headquartered in Middlebury, Vermont. We are seeking a full-time set up and service technician responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs and setups on equipment and implements.

Dealership hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am to noon on most Saturdays.

Colchester, Vermont

• Set up new equipment for product display and sale to consumers.
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing and repairing of equipment including but not limited to small tractors, mowers, and handheld landscaping equipment.
• Test and inspect equipment to determine malfunctions, locate missing and/or broken parts, and verify repairs, using diagnostic instruments if needed.
• Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used with proper documentation.
• Show customers how to maintain equipment.
