KC Mechanical is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team.
If you’ve worked on commercial coolers, freezers, walk‑ins, and reach‑ins—and want steady, local work with a company that respects your trade—we might be the right fit.
We’re a locally owned Vermont business with nearly 30 years serving restaurants, schools, and food service operators across Chittenden, Lamoille, Washington, Franklin, Orange, and Addison Counties. - 1–3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC/R
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Clean, professional work habits and solid communication skills
- Comfortable using iPads or service software for ticketing and documentation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to lift 60 lbs, push 100 lbs, and pull 50 lbs
Experience with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus—but we’ll train the right person with solid refrigeration experience.
Position Details- Full‑time W2 employment (not subcontracted)
