Join the Pilgrim team as an HGV Class 2 Driver and become a valued ambassador for our business.
This is a very physical, hands-on role, involving regular lifting and carrying of products weighing up to 25kg. You’ll need to be comfortable completing demanding, multi-drop deliveries.
What you’ll do:- Complete safe and timely deliveries
- Load, unload and carry products weighing up to 25kg
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Keep your vehicle clean and roadworthy
- Maintain accurate driving and delivery records
- Follow transport, food safety and health and safety regulations
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
- A safe, professional approach to driving
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, flexible and ready to work as part of a team
