Join Worley as an Intermediate Environmental Scientist in Cold Lake, Alberta, focusing on field leadership and technical assessment expertise. This role emphasizes site restoration and managing environmental liabilities through effective project delivery.

As part of Worley’s team, you will lead field programs, conduct environmental assessments, and mentor junior staff members. You’ll spend about 75% of your time on-site engaging in vital environmental activities including soil and water sampling, alongside office-based project support. Your leadership skills will be crucial in delivering safe, efficient solutions in alignment with Alberta's environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental field programs, including monitoring and sampling

• Conduct Phase 1 and Phase 2 site assessments

• Train and mentor junior team members daily

• Assist Project Managers in project execution tasks

• Draft clear technical reports for regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline

• 3 years of environmental field experience

• Proven mentoring skills and leadership capabilities

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Willingness to relocate to Cold Lake
