As a Senior Environmental Scientist, you will oversee contaminated site assessments, blending hands-on leadership with technical expertise.
Your role will include conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring project delivery aligns with safety and quality standards. This position offers significant leadership responsibilities within Worley’s Liability Management and Restoration practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead surface water and groundwater monitoring and soil sampling
• Plan and execute Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
• Supervise field programs, ensuring safety and quality outcomes
• Prepare high-quality technical reports for client review
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of relevant environmental field experience
• Professional designation preferred (EPT, P.Eng., P.Geo.)
• Strong understanding of Alberta regulations and guidelines
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
