As a Junior Environmental Scientist or Technologist
, you will play an important role in delivering field-based environmental programs that support remediation, decommissioning, reclamation, and environmental monitoring projects. Working alongside experienced environmental professionals, you will gain hands‑on experience collecting high‑quality environmental data, supporting field investigations, and contributing to projects that create measurable environmental outcomes.

This role is based out of Worley’s Cold Lake field office. Candidates must be willing to self‑relocate to Cold Lake, Alberta.

• Conduct environmental fieldwork in support of site assessment, remediation, decommissioning, reclamation, and environmental monitoring programs.
• Collect surface water, groundwater, soil, and other environmental samples in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
• Support drilling programs, test pitting investigations, remedial excavations, and reclamation activities.
• Accurately document field observations, collect defensible environmental data, and maintain detailed field records using established protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Characterize and log soil conditions, including soil texture and classification, and operate environmental monitoring and sampling equipment.
• Assist with field logistics, scheduling, equipment preparation, and procurement of project materials and supplies.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, field summaries, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with Senior Environmental Technologists, Scientists, Engineers, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, environmental stewardship, and quality execution in all activities.
• Participate in site visits and field programs in industrial, rural, and remote environments while adhering to all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety requirements.
• Travel throughout the region as required to support client projects and field activities.
• Work safely in varying weather conditions and terrain, including walking extended distances on uneven ground.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
