Location: City of Cold Lake

Become a vital member of Comec as a Heavy Duty Mechanic. This position emphasizes mechanical repair proficiency and client satisfaction within a structured work schedule of Tuesday to Saturday.

As a Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will handle repairs and maintenance of equipment like Tank Trucks and Pressure Trucks. Your work will require ensuring compliance with safety regulations while delivering outstanding service to clients. Completing necessary paperwork accurately is crucial for operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty machinery based on work orders

• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards

• Keep detailed maintenance records and work tickets

• Report any safety risks to the supervisor immediately

• Perform tasks both indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License needed

• Certified Heavy-Duty Mechanic in Alberta

• Experience in diagnostics for heavy equipment

• Strong ability to work with minimal supervision

• Safety certifications such as H2S Alive, and First Aid mandatory
