Become a key player as a Landfill Operator with Grizzly Trek Group Ltd. in Cold Lake, Alberta. This role operates heavy machinery in a 7 on, 7 off work schedule.

In this full-time position, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the landfill site, ensuring compliance and safety standards are upheld. You’ll work with various equipment, including dozers and compactors, while maintaining high standards of site organization and waste documentation. Your proactive approach and problem-solving skills will support operational efficiency and site service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate landfill equipment like loaders and compactors

• Manage waste placement and ensure compliance with regulations

• Accurately track and document all waste operational activities

• Maintain cleanliness of haul roads and working faces

• Issue Safe Work Permits and conduct inspections

Requirements:

• Experience with heavy equipment in various settings

• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards

• Ability to perform administrative tasks alongside equipment work

• Clear communication skills for effective teamwork

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required
