POSITION SUMMARY:The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for assisting the maintenance department with plant maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to pass a Prove It test.
• Two years’ experience in maintenance field preferred.
• Have the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and abilities in order to analyze, evaluate, and solve mechanical problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the operation of maintenance power tools.
• Knowledge of electric and mechanical procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

This position starts at $26.02 an hour going up to $27.54 plus $1 shift differential and the infamous $4 an hour perfect attendance bonus that is paid out weekly.
