About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Manager for a leading beverage packaging company located in Cold Spring, MN. If you are looking for a fast‑paced role with consistent hours and full‑time benefits, this position could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do- Supervise and manage daily plant operations
- Fill in for Production Supervisor when absent
- Assist Line Leads in set‑up, changeover and troubleshooting/problem solving of machine issues
- Update and print changeover sheets used on machine changeovers
- Assist in AX facilitation
- Verify BOMs and inventory in AX prior to start of production order
- Investigate and document any issues or abnormalities with the AX system
- Facilitate and document all training for new recruits, 30, 60, 90 day and annual reviews
- Track and update the yield loss tracker
- Review and sign off on daily quality forms
- Review and file daily downtime, waste tracking, and complete LPN documents
- Print and assign weekly/monthly cleaning PMs and record in MP2
- Act as liaison for production processes during customer and vendor visits
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a high‑speed production environment
- Ability to read and interpret in English
- Strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems is preferred
- Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations is preferred
- Knowledge of working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and using customer portals is preferred
