Night Shift Batching Compliance Tech

Full‑time position located in Cold Spring, MN, US. Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 hourly.
NIGHT SIGN‑ON BONUS $750
. Night shift differential of $2.00 per hour.

This position provides verification and administrative support to the Batching areas to efficiently and effectively meet all internal and external compliance requirements of Cold Spring Brewing Company.

• Verify batching kits for correctness and accuracy prior to shipping to the main plant.
• Assist with inventory accuracy for CSBC and customers.
• Assist in the coordination, monitoring, and testing of all vendors to meet Quality/Compliance expectations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing in designing and enhancing quality management systems to facilitate regulatory compliance.
• Assist the Batching Compliance Analyst Lead as liaison with compliance issues.
• Verify ingredient quantities during the kit stage in the DC batching area; must lift 55 lbs on a regular basis.
• Perform organoleptic analysis of all supplied ingredients.
• Report any non‑conformance.
• Understand all quality standards and expectations for the position.
• Report any waste or poor conservation practices.
• Continuously seek improved practices and processes, and contribute ideas to the supervisor.
• Know and follow all safety requirements before starting any job.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures established by the company.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or required by supervisor/customer.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and customer portals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
• Good at multitasking and utilizing time efficiently.
• Regular use of computer, writing, and filing records.

• Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems.
• Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry.
• 1‑3 years’ experience in a quality environment or manufacturing environment.

The role is based in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Employees will experience varying physical demands, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and working in an office setting with time spent in production or warehouse areas. Temperatures may fluctuate with outside weather conditions, and noise levels can be loud; hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Hairnets and jewelry restrictions apply on the production floor.

Alcohol is an ingredient in the products produced; consequently, this position involves working around alcohol.

• Extended standing on hard surfaces.

• Frequently required to stand, talk, hear, use hands, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
