Job Info- Location: Cold Spring, MN

- Pay Grade & Range: $19.00 – $27.50 (+ shift differential)
- Status: Full‑time hourly position
- Hours: Monday‑Wednesday 3:30 pm – 3:00 am, Thursday 3:30 pm – 11:00 pm (overtime as needed)

Job SummaryThis position is responsible for operating a variety of machines to meet production demands, including diamond blade and wire saws, mausoleum assembly, epoxy applicator, polish machines, anchoring/layout, core machines, drilling and milling machines, etc. The employee must be willing to cross‑train and flex to areas as needed.
Responsibilities- Inspect stone for quality and appearance, including dimensions, thickness, flatness, and squareness.
- Read production tickets to determine work to be completed.
- Review work before, during, and after various steps to ensure it meets specifications, using patterns and measuring tools.
- Apply general knowledge of stone tolerances to repair, mill, apply angle and shape cuts, and specific tooling per customer specifications.
- Use cranes to load and unload work from machines.
- Level, brace, secure, wedge, and clamp all stone in machines to meet safety requirements.
- Index saw blades to the correct size and dimension based on the stone being cut.
- Operate, maintain, and program wire saws.
- Set all project components by applying correct finishing techniques.
- Apply working knowledge of epoxy and bonding techniques to adhere various stones and materials.
- Load, set, operate, and unload polish machine safely with overhead or jib crane.
- Install and program specialty patterns and new patterns into an automated machine.
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC stone mills.
- Must obtain forklift certification (training and certification provided).
- General computer, mechanical, and math skills.
- Knowledge of software used to program CNC, milling, or turning machines (3D modeling, CAD, CAM).
- Ability to calculate material needs to meet job requirements.
- Understanding of stone colors, characteristics, and quality criteria.
- Good color perception; not color blind or deficient.
- Ability to read work orders or production tickets, including dimensional drawings.
- Ability to read tape measure in imperial and metric.
