Status:
Full Time Day Shift

Hours: 12‑hour shift - 6a-6p

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating shifts (work 15 days a month!)

Summary

Through the Ingredient Control Manager, this position oversees all Ingredient Control, Inventory and Receiving processes during their shift. This position is responsible for keeping the Ingredient Control Manager, and other Departmental Managers, informed of the above processes in addition to being the liaison between the Company and Customer and the Company. This position is also responsible for documentation, oversight, and control of both Ingredient Kitting, Inbound Ingredients and Inventory Accuracy in the facility for both our Customers and the Company.

What

You Will Be Doing
  • Being sensitive to Confidentiality Agreements, works as liaison between the Company and Customer/s.
  • Works with Customers to establish recipe formulation and kitting timelines.
  • Oversees, coordinates and is responsible for the production of Ingredient Kits for beverage production.
  • Oversees, and is responsible for, all Ingredient Inventory.
  • Coordinates and verifies regular Ingredient Inventory counts as required. Coordinates and verifies material and supply inventory for Ingredient Control operations. Directs personnel in the accomplishment of these tasks.
  • Reports ingredient inventory counts and ingredient loss reporting.
  • Oversees and coordinates the movement and storage of ingredients and finished kits.
  • Oversees ingredient receiving department and works closely with the Planning Department on load management.
  • Trains and leads, as well as communicates effectively with all co‑workers.
  • Directs employees in preparation of documentation for ingredients being picked up or shipped. Will also provide directions on staging of the ingredients and kits.
  • Perform all aspects of the position to the highest quality; along with reporting any non‑conformance to the Ingredient Control Manager immediately.
  • Take personal responsibility for your own safety and fellow employees, correcting and/or assisting in corrections of any safety hazards identified.
  • Must learn and apply new processes and procedures in area of responsibility.
  • Use all company resources in the most efficient manner, using best practice conservation of these resources per company policy and Food Manufacturing Practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Report any waste or poor conservation practices to the Ingredient Control Manager.
  • Responsible for evaluating and making suggestions for the continuous improvement of processes in area of responsibility.
  • Knowing all quality standards and expectations of position, and if not sure, ask the Ingredient Control Manager before continuing.
  • Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Management.
What You Need to Bring

Minimum Qualifications
  • An associate’s degree in an appropriate field is preferred but not required.
  • 3‑5 years’ Supervisor experience is preferred but not required.
  • 3‑5 years’ operational and inventory control experience is preferred but not required.
  • 3‑5 years’ warehouse/forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Above average math skills are required.
  • Above average verbal and written communications skills are required.
  • Extended standing on hard surfaces.
  • Regular bending, stooping and lifting up to 60lbs.
  • May be required to work in small spaces.
  • Knowledge of working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals.
  • Works in a warehouse environment with dust and variable temperatures; including the operation of forklifts and computer usage.
