The Branch ISD Special Education Department serves students pre‑K to age 26 with mild to severe impairments and works closely with the local schools in Branch County to provide:
- instructional services
- hearing and vision services
- physical and occupational therapy
- speech, psychological, and nursing services

Job SummaryThe employee fulfilling this job is accountable to the Special Education Supervisor and is responsible for the instruction of students with special needs. The employee will be held to the Highly Qualified requirements of teaching. Expectations include a pleasant and professional demeanor, a positive attitude, and an outgoing personality. The employee must also maintain confidentiality and engage in professional development as required by the State of Michigan.
GeneralDescription
The Teacher Consultant for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TC‑DHH) will provide direct or consultative services to students who are eligible for deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) services. The Teacher Consultant in this position will also provide consultation and professional learning to general education and special education teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Salary RangeUS $43.23 – 67.44 per hour (contingent on education and years of experience)
